Our caring staff offer a friendly and

stimulating environment to provide

 Bathing, personal hygiene, manicures and

 general personal care within the Day Centre.

 

The Day Centre Therapy Team which Consists

Physiotherapist, Speech/Language Therapist  

& Occupational/ Physiotherapist Assistants

 are available  for assessment  and

advice with problems associated with;

 Mobility, Falls, Activities of daily living,

Communication and/or Swallowing.

 

District Nurses from a number of practices regularly visit

to attend to our members various primary care needs.

 

A chiropodist is situated in the adjoining Clinic,

visits can be arranged by appointment.

 Domiciliary Dentist appointments can be

arranged and a visiting optician attends

on average 3 times a year.

 

Morning beverages, chef prepared Lunch

with a choice of Menu and afternoon  tea

 & biscuits/cakes are available daily.

 

Transport is available to and from the

Day Centre if required by members.

 

The Mobile Library visits 4 times monthly.
